The start of Project Map, my attempt at cloning Black & White, the god game by Lionhead Studios. Day one was terrain generation with palm trees on a tropical island. Day two was getting the camera controls and C# scripting working in Unity3D. I never finished it (obviously), but learning 3D world-building and game physics through trying to recreate something I loved was the best kind of education. The terrain generation skills ended up being useful for the Medikidz game environments.
