Executive Biography

Dr Adrian Raudaschl is a Principal Product Manager at Elsevier with over a decade of experience in AI-powered product development and healthcare technology. Following medical training at the University of Glasgow and clinical practice within the NHS, he transitioned to technology leadership, bringing evidence-based methodology to product development.

Dr Raudaschl initiated and built the original prototype for Scopus AI during COVID, driven by early fascination with GPT models. This led to developing a vector-search and generative AI platform now serving millions of researchers globally. He holds multiple patents in retrieval-augmented generation technologies and leads the team expanding AI search across Elsevier's products.

His unique perspective combines clinical rigour with technical innovation, applying lessons from emergency medicine to product management: rapid pattern recognition, evidence-based decisions, and maintaining clarity under pressure.
